DERM-Tabs contains a beneficial combination of various nutrients that effectively support the health and quality of your pet's skin and coat:
Amino Acid Zinc Chelate: (Supplement: 1,200 mg/kg corresponds to 4 mg of organically bound zinc per 10 kg of dog weight, when using the recommended dosage.) Zinc is part of the enzyme system. Deficiency symptoms include cracked skin (parakeratosis), loss of pigmentation and hair loss. For dogs suffering from dermatitis, adding zinc to the diet has a positive effect on the skin and coat. Amino acid zinc chelate as an organic zinc compound is absorbed 4 to 5 times better than inorganic zinc sources.

Brewer's yeast (content: 30%) is a natural multi-component combination of active ingredients that has been shown to have a positive effect on the quality of your pet's skin and coat.
B-vitamin complex (brewer's yeast is the largest natural source of B vitamins!) organically bound trace elements such as iron, zinc, copper, manganese, selenium pantothenic acid (important for skin pigment) natural enzymes (-> vitality in puppies/young dogs) choline (-> liver protection) folic acid (-> white blood cell formation/antibodies) glutathione (-> antibody formation) special cell wall components of brewer's yeast (ß-1.3/1.6 glucans) have been shown to have a positive effect on the immune system. These natural carbohydrate compounds, which are only found in yeasts and fungi, are obtained by dogs living in the wild from the soil. Their positive direct effect on the function and effectiveness of white blood cells in fighting infectious pathogens has been demonstrated in extensive studies in several animals and humans for over 10 years. The reason for the stimulating effect of glucans on the body's own defense system is that white blood cells (macrophages) are equipped with receptors that can detect and bind to ß-1.3 and ß-1.6 glucans. Contact with glucans stimulates them to produce various cytokines (mediators). These in turn support the body's entire immune system. When combined with vitamin C, the effect of glucan is enhanced.

Biotin: (Supplement: 830,000 mcg / kg corresponds to 3,000 mcg for every 10 kg of dog weight, when following the recommended dosage.) Biotin (vitamin H) is an essential substance in the body's production of keratin, skin, coat and nail epithelial cells. Biotin deficiency is seen, for example, as premature graying, dry and poor-quality coat, hair breakage and thinning of the coat, flaky skin, itching and rashes, and skin infections. In healthy dogs, the biotin requirement is largely covered by the large intestine's own synthesis. Dogs with the above-mentioned skin and coat problems improve quickly by giving them a high-concentration biotin supplement.

Omega-3 fatty acid Total omega-3 fatty acids: 3.2%; eicosapentaenoic acid (EPA): 0.1%; docosahexaenoic acid (DHA): 3.1% Dietary supplements rich in omega-3 fatty acids naturally reduce inflammation in the body. Supplementing your dog's diet with omega-3 fatty acids in a targeted manner is recommended and reduces inflammatory skin reactions and promotes a healthy, shiny coat.
