Francodex vitamin C for guinea pigs 15ml
Guinea pigs cannot synthesize vitamin C, but it is vital for their health: the first signs of vitamin C deficiency can be severe fatigue, difficulty moving, loss of appetite, followed by more serious symptoms if it persists. A healthy guinea pig needs 20 mg/kg per day. The need triples during illness, convalescence, pregnancy and lactation (60 mg/kg).
Composition: Purified water, sodium bicarbonate, monopotassium phosphate.
Additives (/kg): vitamins: vitamin C 30000mg, aroma: benzoic acid, preservatives: sorbic acid - D,L-malic acid.
Instructions for use: Shake the bottle before opening.
- Preventive use: add 5 ml of Francodex Vitamin C to a liter of drinking water using a measuring cup. Change daily.
- During recovery: triple the dose, i.e. add 15 ml per 1 liter of drinking water for 10 days.
- During pregnancy and lactation: triple the dose, i.e. add 15 ml per liter of drinking water throughout the period.
Precautions for use: Keep out of reach of children.
