Choose the right hook according to the size of the tick. Spread the fur away from the front and slide the hook between the animal's skin and the tick. Without pulling, turn (rotate) several times in the same direction until the tick comes off. Once the tick has been removed, disinfect the attachment site and wash your hands thoroughly.
