Catappa leaves come from the fruit tree Badamier Terminalia Catappa. They help lower the pH of freshwater aquariums and promote the growth of beneficial bacteria in the aquarium, thus aiding in the biological cleaning of the aquarium. Catappa leaves are also an excellent supplement for crayfish.
